Judy
is one of AANACs exceptional Master Teachers for the
RAC-CT® workshop and the author of AANACs newest
workshop, Medicare University. Since 2007, she has presented
four of AANACs RAC-CT workshops and, since 2009, six
Medicare University workshops.
Additionally,
Judy is coauthor of Accurately Assessing Activities of Daily
Living and the MDS 3.0, as well as serving as an expert reviewer
for MDS 3.0 Coding for OBRA and PPS, Resource Utilization
Groups (RUG-IV) and the MDS 3.0, OBRA Timing and Scheduling
for the MDS 3.0, and Care Planning and the MDS 3.0, in addition
to this course. She is a regional MDS/Medicare consultant
for Medical Facilities of America. Previously, she held positions
as the RAI manager for Virginia and as a surveyor for Virginia.
Judy has consulted CMS on several MDS projects and served
on the CMS panel that authored and taught three national Webinars
for providers and surveyors on MDS coding.
